A Washington, DC press photographer vents about the political wranglings in our Nation's Capital.
I'm starting to feel the urge to go postal.

OK, so I'm still a little mystified by blogging. Write an article headlined "Bush is Bad" or "Bush is the Worst President in History" and receive 200 plus comments. Put it, purely by accident, in the wrong forum and get even MORE exposure. Write, if I do say so myself, a really funny spoof on "Come All Ye Faithful" (timely, too! And, Bipartisan!) and get exactly 0 feedback. This was Saturday Night Live material. Writers strike be damned!

Meanwhile, folks say -- Joe Pro Photographer, don't Bush Bash, it's so passe. You'll go down as a whack job.

This despite the fact I am a whack job. Then I zip over to another blog, one who shall remain nameless. MAN! You all don't say anything nice about this blogger, do ya? Which makes me wonder, why the hell does he contribute postings? I think I'd tell you to screw yourself and take my rantings to another place.

THEN, there are the religious, umm, people. I'm sure a few (if anyone contributes to this posting at all) will write something following this "article" like, "God is everywhere and we must spread HIS joy for only HIS joy is the TRUE joy and after I was HEALED and TOUCHED by JESUS I saw the light and now every sentence I write must contain the WORD JESUS". AMEN.

Next, come the hard right and hard left...bloggers. You can put forth whatever arguement you want, based on pure fact, only to have a reply that barely addresses the point you just made. In fact, it may quote the point, but then go off on an entirely different direction.

Joe Pro, give me 10 reasons why Bush is so bad. Everyone always bash's Bush, but never has a solution. Give me solutions.

So, I write out 10 solutions. Only one response. Yes, those are good solutions, but I don't like them. (In fairness, this isn't actually what he said, but I could hear others thinking it!)

It seems facts don't exist on blogs. Everything put forth is interpreted as opinion. Even when it's not an opinion, even when it is a fact. This I do not understand. Some things just aren't open to interpretation. But, some people, I won't say who, argue EVERYTHING.

THE SKY IS AZURE NOT BLUE YOU STUPID *** PHOTOGRAPHER.

OK, so my rant is finished. I'm sure I'll figure this blogging thing out soon enough. I might have to tailor my style to fit in.

So,here it goes: Everything is Bush's fault, he is just stupid, and if it's not Bush's fault it's the press' fault, and if it's not the press' fault, then it is the fact that Israel is evil, or maybe it's Hil's fault or maybe, just maybe, you aren't a true American and don't really support the troops like I do. Get your facts straight!

How's that?
